1。 中国青年报的“冰点“栏目被封了。 虽然我是很不赞同 袁伟时的文章，不过还是感觉非常的不舒服。

 

  2. 春节联欢晚会上的《吉祥三宝〉真不错， 当然老赵的小品也是很不错的。 当然还有让人感到很不爽的领导的大幅姓（可能大家没怎么注意）, 还有极为缺乏政治智慧的熊猫的命名。

 

  3， 姚明复出了，不过火箭又输了。

 

 

               这两天过春节，不过人在异国， 也没有什么过节的气氛，又加之学习也是比较忙。 不过即使是在国内，恐怕也是没有什么过节的心思了， 问的几个同学，都说没有过年没有什么意思了。 回想起当初小时候盼望过年的心情，就盼着有好东西吃，可以放鞭炮，心情就是非常的爽了。真是人越大了就越是没有了那么多单纯的期待了。

               正好是周末，于是就挑了几部原来没有看过的电影看了一下。 一部是《独自等待〉，老早就有同学推荐了，说挺不错的。 看过之后，觉得有点失望， 故事情节很老套， 夏雨的表演也没有多少出彩的地方，李冰冰的表演有点让人失望， 记得原来看少年包青天的时候演的楚楚还不错的（不要鄙视我啊）， 老是摆着一个拉长的脸。还有另外一个女主角，不知道叫什么名字（googel 一下发现叫龚蓓苾）， 不过长得还真是漂亮啊， 养眼。

             导演“似乎“想表达一下现代的年轻人得爱情生活， 夏雨总是想寻求自己的梦想中的情人，于是一见钟情的事情发生了，他自己觉得他找到了：一个女演员（李冰冰）。 于是就想尽各种办法去追一个她，最后当然是失败了。 而他从小的好朋友（龚蓓苾）一直暗恋他， 收集他从送给她的礼物， 甚至帮忙他去追女友。 最后终于发现他最爱的还是她。 故事真是够老套的， 第一眼看到（龚蓓苾）得时候，我就觉得夏雨和她会有故事， 当他要她装他女朋友的时候，我就知道这个故事就是这样的了。

         夏雨是我一直比较喜欢的演员，可惜最近一直没有什么长进了， 甚至还没有能超越《阳光灿烂的日子〉得演出。

        故事挺无聊的， 不过有几句台词还是蛮有意思的：

       “ 女人说不想要其实就是想要，女人说不爱其实是很爱“

      “女人不就是要使男人为他们疯狂嘛“

     “这个世界上其实根本就没有什么梦中情人“。

 

          第二部片子是《苏州河〉， 看完之后很faint， 周迅演的挺不错， 很有个性的演员，我一直比较喜欢的（黄蓉除外）， 不过我不明白片子的主题是什么东西。 整个一玩玄乎。当然还是记得一句台词：

      “如果有一天我真的走了，你会不会像马达一样找我嘛，“

     “会阿“

    “会一直找吗？“

   “会阿“

   “会一直找到死“

  “会阿“ 

  “你撒谎，想这样的事情只有在爱情故事里才会出现的“

 

 

 

 

      

      这个学期早上有不少课， 每天要早起了， 作为一个长期的“夜猫子”来说， 骤然改变生活习惯，还真有有点不习惯。

       

     

        1， 新年第一天， CNN晚上就在直播Texas和Okalahoma得边境上的大火，还有加州的大水。 一点没有歌舞升平的意思。

              新年第二天，west virginia 发生矿难， 原来美国也有矿难，　１３名矿工。Cnn全程直播整个进程，政府官员准时召开新闻发布会，介绍救援进程，　美国总统发表讲话，鼓励矿工家属。

　　

　　２，冯小刚又骂娘了，据说是记者问了几个很弱智的问题，有挑拨离间的嫌疑（具体情况请看各大门户网站），　于是冯小刚骂娘了。　比较有趣的是，网上民间一直支持冯小刚，　媒体上一直炮轰冯小刚。　我相信群众的眼睛是雪亮的。　所以大家以后千万不要轻易相信媒体上的报道，那东西十之八九是扯淡。

 

　　３．最近的陈凯歌的无极，　张艺谋得千里走单骑上映，　网上吵得飞飞扬。还没看过，　据说无极很滥，　但是票房很好。　千里走单骑因为老谋子回归文艺，所以票房好像并不好，至少远比原来的两部滥篇《英雄〉，《十面埋伏〉差。　所以有时候我们广大的影迷不要老埋怨那些导演们，　有什么样的观众就会有什么样的电影，电视。　就好比有那样的中国球迷的存在，就有那样的中国足球。

 

　　４，　火箭又输球了，　而且输的很憋屈。　老霍华的被罚下去了，　去年还在火箭的假帮主风光无限，越看越是小人得志，这球看得郁闷。　姚明，　你快回来吧！　欧们真的很想念你！

　　　

        During the first string revolution, we have found that there are only five consistent microscopic theory: type I, type IIa, IIb, heterotic so(32)* so(32) and E(8)*E(8). It seems that string theory is unique, however, the space time dimention of the theory is ten, and our real world, at least in the low energy limit, is four dimension. so the extra dimensions should be hiddened in certain ways, one of the resolutions is to think that the extra dimensions are compactified: the space time structure is   M_4*K_6, where K-6 is a compact manifold.  

       

      The extra compact manifolds are not arbitrary. Just considering the heterotic case, If we require four dimensional N=1 supersymmetry and the effective  theory is realistic or the theory is resemble of the standard model, the internal manifold must be a calabi-Yau manifold, and we need to find the boundle structure( see su(5), so(10), those grand unification group)  so that we have the anomaly cancellation condition.  The choice is not unique, we have many choices of the calabi-yau and bundle structure (M, V), this is a big problem, since there are huge number of them, and there is even no theorm to guarantee that the number is finite, so it is hard to get predictions from the theory if the vacua we find are consistent.

    

     In the second string revolution, we gained some understanding of the non-perturbative aspects of string theory, and it is believed that there exists a unique theory and all the previously found five string theory are just certain limit of the moduli space. And those theory are related through dualities, like S duality, T duality, U duality. These new discoveries are exciting, However the number of four dimensional theory vacua is not solved at all, we still have the same problem, but now we have some control on the non-perturbative effects.

 

    Now we recast the many choice of constructing the four dimensional vacua:

      1, Choice of microscopic theory( weakly coupled fundmental theory, IIa, IIb, M theory, F theory, etc)

     

      2, Choice of compactification manifold, or the  CFT we want on the manifold.

 

     3, Choice of bundle or brane configuration

 

     4, Choice of flux.

 

     5, Choice of critical point of the effective potential.

 

And we expect that we will have the following results:

 

    1, the vacua is unique through some selection rules, say, anomaly cancellation,  tadpole cancellation, etc, Althouth those constraints drastically reduces the number of the vacua, the remaining ones are still very huge. Until now there is no indication that we will find such selection mechanism to select the vacua, although most of the physicists believe we will finally find such principles.

 

    2, the number of string vacua is finite. and we may get prediction from some recently proposed statistical methods by douglas, etc.

 

    3, the number of string vacua is infinite, this is the worst case since I believe that  it is hard to get prediction from the theory.

 

   

 There is a question: is the effective description enough for our description. Or does the fundamental theory, say the property of  quantum gravity, imposes certain restriction on the low energy theory, so that the semi-classically consistent theory is actually inconsistent. If this is not the case, then we can freely choose our low energy effective theory so that they match the experimental results, and the fundmental theory has no impact on the low energy theory, and it is impossible to get new predictions from the fundamental theory. Recently, Vafa proposed some conjectures that will impose restrictions on the low energy field theory:

 

   1, Finiteness of scalar field moduli space, here duality plays a important role.

 

   2. The rank of the gauge groups, or the finitness of the matter fields.

 

   3, The restrictions on Gauge fields.

 

It is really interesting to verify or disprove those conjectures.

      昨天终于第一次好好看了一下本赛季的英超比赛，  一场是曼联和阿森纳，一场是切尔西队西汉目联队，看完之后，有些感想。

     曼联队阿森纳这场说实话有些沉闷，远远没有当年两强争霸时候德精彩， 还记得当年有一场联赛初的比赛，那真是荡气回肠阿。 阿森纳前场有亨利，维尔托德，永贝利，皮雷，还有维埃拉的插上，帕罗尔德远射，进攻确实精彩。 曼联方面，前锋是黑风双萨：科尔和约可， 左边有吉格斯得突破，右边有本贝克汉目的请准长传，中场基恩德插上，斯科尔斯的远射，    所以双方的进攻都是精彩分层。

    今天的曼联合阿森纳确实都显得年轻，曼联方面， 中场斯科尔斯状态下滑，左路基格斯远没有原来的神勇，右边的小小罗过人不错，可惜传球比较糟糕，所以前场的范尼比较缺乏支援阿。更严重的是中路没有基恩德后插上，对后场的保护。 那些小将，象弗莱彻， ricadeson显得还比较稚嫩。需要更多的锻炼。

   阿森纳的问题似乎更严重些，亨利在前场确实很有威胁，但是却没有什么队友能够对他又很好的支持，reyes本来技术不错，可惜在身体对抗方面有些软。难怪亨利要转会到巴塞去，这样的队伍最近几年确实很难有什么大的作为阿。

   然后看了一下切尔西德比赛，感觉切尔西确实很稳，三条线结合的很好。罗本给我印象很深刻，04年欧洲杯的时候这个小伙子就让人眼前一亮，上赛季更是威风八面，看前面的报道，这个赛季好像不怎么的，但这几场的状态变得好起来了。他过人速度不是很快，也没有多少话动作，但是很实用。更重要的是，他射门，传威胁求得本事比小小罗好太多，很有灵性的一个球员，我是很喜欢他。

   

       

         一直没有什么兴趣出去游玩，一是因为生性习惯于待在一个地方，一个是因为恐惧那如流的人潮，当然还有一个是实在不能接受现在人们对人文，自然景观“蹩脚“的包装。不过对于沈从文的老家凤凰还是很有兴趣去看看，不过一直未能成行，直到今年暑假，阴差阳错才和几个同学结伴去了一趟。直到今天才有写一些东西的冲动，是不是真是此情可待成追忆， 只是当时已惘然呢？   

 

 

古镇：

          朦朦胧胧中下了火车， 又迷迷糊糊的登上了从吉首到凤凰的汽车， 然后就这样到了凤凰古镇。凤凰古镇原来叫沱江镇，只因凤凰名气太大，现在大家只知道凤凰了，古镇旁边就是有名的沱江了。古镇倒是也还古朴， 石板路，房子显得还是比较的老，不过现在都比较的商业化了，都是卖一些衣服，饰品什么的，女孩子可能比较喜欢，我是完全没有什么兴趣。 镇子还真比较小，我们两个男生逛了十几分钟就逛完了，她们几个女生就去不亦乐乎的买那些小玩意去了。 走马观花，也没有什么好玩的，不过还是发现了几个有趣的事情，一个是镇中有个小庙， 路过的时候有人拉我们进去拜佛， 我心理就嘀咕，此处非善地阿，果然待我们两拜完佛，就开始要香火钱了，哎， 没办法，只得打发打发。 另外一个事情就是本地盛产姜糖，虽然偶觉得比较难吃，不过虽然这么多店，原来只有四家才是正宗的。

 

        下午我们一帮子人就去坐船沿着沱江走了一道， 俺家靠着河，从小就在河里面玩，游泳阿，划船那是很熟阿。 沿途和其他一些游人打打水仗还是很有意思的了，可惜大都不堪一击，哎，浪费我的好生手阿。  

       

      吃完晚饭后，闲着没事和女生们出去买东西，街边很多苗族老太太在卖一些饰品，我看上一个小玩意，老太太说要八块， 我更她坎了半天，最后坎到五块，心想自己还不错嘛，于是就成交了。 过了一会，到了下家，看到同样的东西，问价，她起价是五块，我登时傻眼了，原来我就是那雏阿，被人给痛宰了。 再到另外一家的时候居然叫价是三块，真正气死我也！ 赫赫，可能真是平常两耳不闻身外事，一心只读圣贤书啊，不过我倒能吃一堑，长一智， 原来买东西得忘死了坎，不怕你想不到，就怕你不敢想啊，只管三分之一，四分之一的往下坎就是。

     

    集市快散的时候，我们几个人登上城墙，看着河里面放的各色各样的河灯，对面的吊脚楼，迎面拂来得带着河水的湿气的微风，没有了白天的喧嚣，只听得到河水的潺潺声，真是非常的惬意阿。 这才真的体会到沈从文书中湘西边陲那种宁静，古朴，淡淡的美丽， 当然还有那种淡淡的忧伤； 想起翠翠和她的爷爷得渡口，想起翠翠的梦：梦到她上山去采虎耳草；还有二佬为追求翠翠每晚唱的山歌， 还有边城最后的结语：这个人也许永远不回来了，也许明天回来！。 一切感觉都是淡淡的，但就如此淡淡的发生了，而且这样就是一生。
